LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT 

THANK YOU GEOFF BROSKY!

Happy New Year! I hope each of you had lovely holidays with your family and friends.  As we begin 2024, I want to introduce myself and say a few words about our outgoing president, Geoff Brosky.  Geoff has served many years as HOA president of Mockingbird Gardens and his commitment to this community has been invaluable.  He navigated through some difficult covid years and we are grateful for his service. His time and energy in this role is appreciated.  He served with a kind heart and we thank him tremendously.  

 

NEW PRESIDENT 2024!    

My name is Lori Samuel and I am honored to be your incoming president.  I have led volunteer organizations for over 20 years.  I work part time with my husband, Steve in our medical practice.  I love our beautiful neighborhood and I am proud to live here.  I am dedicated to work on your behalf to keep Mockingbird Gardens a top neighborhood in our city!  Our HOA is a talented group of board members that I have the privilege to work with this coming year.  We are committed to a “friends and neighbors” service leadership approach that provides excellent financial management, optimizes the growth of investment value in our homes and provides recreational and social opportunities for our residents.  I hope I get to meet most of you in person soon!  If you need to reach me my cell number is 404-217-2296 or by email at Lbjkwheel@aol.com.  

 

NEW PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY

We have some exciting new changes to share.  We are pleased to announce that Paragon Management Group will be our new property manager effective February 1st.  While we appreciate Mulloy’s service, we felt we needed to go another direction with a property management group that could provide more efficiency, attention and commitment to our neighborhood.  After vetting numerous property management companies, we collectively chose Paragon and look forward to a rewarding mutually beneficial relationship.  If you have any questions, you may contact Renee Aldridge at Paragon  at Renee@paragonky.com or at 502-451-0485.  

 

We are working very hard updating, replacing, and improving our pool area!  We will have new renovated decking areas, new piping and pumps and a wonderful pool this summer to enjoy!  And yes… a baby pool too!  We are very proud of our landscaping committee for their hard work this past year in updating and giving much needed attention to all areas in our neighborhood.  Please see more details in our subsequent article.  

 

We invite each of you to our annual meeting Monday, February 26th at 6:00 pm.  Please come a little early to meet your HOA board and new property manager liaisons.  We will be serving light snacks and wine.
